Toshiba unveils a budget Satellite L510 notebook

TOSHIBA’s Satellite L510 notebook is designed to handle today everyday computing tasks and yet look good while doing it. The notebook makes use of the company’s in-mould rolling (IMR) technology to deliver a unique breeze?pattern on its glossy metallic grey surface.

It comes with a 14in HD LED backlight widescreen incorporating the company’s Clear SuperView technology, which provides viewing resolution of up to 1,366 x 768-pixels.
The model’s basic specifications include 2GB DDR2 SDRAM, 320GB SATA hard disk with shock absorbers and a DVD burner.

As for the processor, users get to choose between an Intel Pentium Dual Core and Intel Core 2 Duo processor. As for graphics, users have a choice of either an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530.
Plenty of data connectivity options are also available, including WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, 4-in-1 card reader as well as two USB2.0 ports, eSATA and HDMI ports.
Additionally, the L510 also offers an integrated VGA webcam that supports the company’s proprietary SmartFace Face Recognition software for easy log-in to password protected applications.
