Maxis launched iPhone 3GS in Malaysia at 31 July 2009 (a year after the launched of iPhone 3g). Through the newly launched iPhone 3GS by Maxis Communications Bhd is expected to take the market by storm.

Maxis Subscription Plans
I think it’s similar to service providers in other countries, they are few new subscription plans being introduced as an effort to make the units more affordable to public (after being subsidized by communications service provider which is Maxis in Malaysia). maixs let you opt from 3 packages which is the new iValue Plans with 12-month or 24-month contract, or the Value Plus Plans with 6-month contract. Customers can now purchase the iPhone 3GS interest-free over 12-month or 24-month periods. This offer is open to all Maybank, HSBC, Citibank and Public Bank Visa and MasterCard customers.
