iphone: Singapore and Hong Kong offer cheapest iPhone 4

August 7th, 2010 by ytechcity

If you’re wondering which country is selling the cheapest non-contract, unlocked iPhone 4, well look no further than Singapore. Basically, Singapore and Hong Kong offer a cheaper price, where you can get an unlocked, no contract 32GB iPhone 4 for about RM2,450 (a 16GB version is around RM2,074).

iPhone4-Price-Chart
Picture above showing the iPhone 4 is priced around the world. The creator of the infographic made it simple for everyone to find the cheapest price by excluding locked iPhone 4s and iPhone 4s that are unlock but require a contract to be purchased. Everything is pretty self-explanatory, you’ll get the drift pretty quickly.

As a malaysian, we still waiting offer from Maxis and Digi, btw, i think Digi will offer a great plan?

Developers who signed up for Apple’s iPhone Developers Program will be able to download the latest release of iOS 4. If you’re following with Apple’s iPhone 4 reception issues, you probably know that Apple is solving that with a software fix.

Engadget has a screenshot of a iPhone 4 with the latest update and they do notice some difference on the signal bars. Visually, the bars look bigger than normal with the 1-bar symbol being taller than before.

It is just released so we expect to hear more discoveries soon.
