According Official Googgle blog, Google Chrome are designed for people who live on the web — searching for information, checking email, catching up on the news, shopping or just staying in touch with friends. However, the operating systems that browsers run on were designed in an era where there was no web.

Looks like Google is ready to take their Chrome OS to the next level. The rumour mill is currently running hot with news that Google is currently in talks with a number of manufacturers, in order to produce Chrome OS-based netbooks that will also comes with a number of Google Apps pre-installed together.
