Smartphone TV, shame its Analogue
At a price expected to be much lower than the standard $500 charged for similar spec phones (and free to customers taking out a contract), Innocomm are also looking to integrate a digital TV tuner enabling the device to receive free over-the-air broadcasts. The phone is expected to be on sale in May. Chuck Huang, sales manager at Innocomm said:- “What we do is sell a high-end smartphone at a low-end price.”

Watching TV on the go using your smartphone is becoming increasingly popular in far east countries such as China who still use the analogue service. For the rest of the world, the technology seems a few years out of date as most channels have gone, or are soon to go digital. It seems that the digital tuner inclusion will be included on models sold in these Countries.
